In my previous post i listed some bothering questions about backlink creation which must be answered in the best way that will benefits every readers of this blog. Before i could talk deeply about backlink i think it is pertinent to define and categorize backlinking as this will make things clearer to us.
I have never come across any clear and specific definition of backlink but i will try and define it in a simple and easy to understand way.
Backlink is the process or act of submitting a site URL to another site which will directly or indirectly bring visitors to the site (submitted URL) when people click on the link and also increase the popularity of the site on the internet. This is a layman definition just for the understanding of my readers and it should not be used to answer exam questions.
Just as we know about manual and automation of virtually everything, backlink can also be created in two ways:
#1 manual backlink creation and
#2 automatic backlink creation.
The manual method is the one that can be created by directly visiting the site where you wish to create the backlink and then submit your link without any involvement of application or software.
On the other hand, automatic backlink involve the use of tools (software) to submit the link.
No doubt, automatic backlinking is very fast and required little human efforts compared to manual backlink.
The advantage of one method over the other will be explained later on this blog.
